Saras Azad has authored six novels. It’s difficult to confine him in certain boundaries. And it’s because he never confined himself in one dimension. By education, he is an Electronics and Communication engineer. By profession, he is a java trainer after working in software industry for more than a decade. And by passion, he is an author.

  7. Professional Career : Saras started his career in Tata Consultancy Services in 2008, and thereafter, worked in companies like Capgemini, IBM, HCL Technologies, Mastercard and HSBC. Then in 2021, he left his job and started working as a full time author.
  8. Java Trainer : Saras wanted to become a java trainer since the beginning of his career. After working in software industry for about 12 years, he realized he wasn’t getting enough time to pursue his career as an author. Although, he had written five of his novels while working in a job itself. But due to increasing responsibilities and pressure of the job with increasing experience, he, finally, called it a day. And started working as a full time author along with teaching java to corporate students.
  9. First Novel : Saras Azad’s first novel, named “Lovely Revolution”, was published in the year 2013. A political romance, set up in the cities like, Unnao, Kolkata and Delhi, Lovely Revolution is the story of Rajeev and Neha. It was hugely appreciated by his readers. Some interesting facts about Saras Azad

  • Kanti Singh, author’s mother, remembers when he (as a kid) first held a pencil and a notebook in his hands, he did not leave it until the notebook was completely filled.
  • As he grew, so did his passion for writing. He wrote his first story at an age of eight.
  • Always in the quest of doing something creative, he started creating his own handmade comics, writing cricket match commentaries, news, and short stories.
  • In his childhood, he had a habit of writing personal diaries. He had not just one but multiple personal diaries in which he used to write his feelings and emotions about himself, family and close friends.
  • During his childhood, he was very much fond of writing letters and would write letters to his cousins and friends.
  • Unlike many of his contemporary writers, he did not limit himself to any particular genre or style e.g. love-stories, crime-thriller etc, rather he offered something new in each of his books. For example, his second book Café Rampur is a motivational book but presented in the form of an extremely beautiful, engaging story.
  • The writer says that he writes not only for the entertainment, but there are strong messages that he wants to convey through his stories.
  • Primarily, the author writes in English. But he has also tried his hands on Hindi. His novel Raebareli Romance is written in Hindi.
  • There are a very few novels in the history which have been written in Hindi and English by the author themselves. Raebareli Romance is one such novel which has been written in Hindi as well as English by Saras Azad himself.
